If another OP was linked with a kit plate in WebIDQ than required for the used mass spectrometer system, the OP may be changed after running a kit. An example is given for the platform SCIEX 5500+ and the Quant 500 kit.
– The OP for SCIEX 6500+ was linked with the kit plate, MXP500L-0-5713.
– The OP for SCIEX 5500+ is MXP500L-0-5813.
It is required to change the OP in WebIDQ and to rename all MS data files.
Change OP
1. In LIMS > Projects select the corresponding plate run, e.g. 1052365870-1, and click Delete measurements.
2. Change the OP from MXP500L-0-5713 to MXP500L-0-5813.
Rename all MS data files
1. Make copies of the corresponding MS data files, e.g. all WIFF and SCAN or RAW files of the plate run.
2. Rename the copied MS data files. For example,
Original file name | for MXP500L-0-5713:
MXP500L-0-5713_1052365870_01_0_1_1_01_10000001.wiff
New file name | for MXP500L-0-5813:
MXP500L-0-5813_1052365870_01_0_1_1_01_10000001.wiff
For file renaming a bulk rename tool may be used.
Data quantification
It is required to integrate, calibrate, and validate the plate run again.
1. In Quantification > Integration import the renamed MS data files.
2. Follow the procedures described in the WebIDQ user manual in section Quantification.
After changing an OP, it is required to check all retention time (RT) windows. To import RT windows which were previously defined, a RT window export file (CSV export from WebIDQ) may be used.See section Export integration windows.
