Database migration from on-premises to cloud version
Transfer a WebIDQ
on-premises database to WebIDQ cloud.

Make sure the WebIDQ cloud database does not contain any required data! During the below described procedure, all data in the
WebIDQ cloud (target) database will be deleted,
which cannot be restored.
1. In WebIDQ on-premises from the main menu, click Migration wizard.
2. Perform a WebIDQ on-premises database export by clicking Export data from
WebIDQ.
3. Specify a folder, where database export files should
be saved.
The default folder is
“C:\\WebIDQ-migration”.
4. Log in to WebIDQ cloud.
5. In WebIDQ cloud from the main menu, click Migration wizard.
6. Click Import data.
7. To upload the migration data generated
previously, drag the folder “WebIDQ-migration”.

Name of folder containing files for database migration is WebIDQ-migration.
8. Once all files are uploaded, in the
WebIDQ dialogue “Migration wizard” click Next.
Follow the shown instructions of the WebIDQ “Migration wizard”.

During migration, any data in
the WebIDQ database will be deleted and
replaced by the data being uploaded.
9. The WebIDQ on-premises database was transferred to WebIDQ cloud.
