Recreate plate runs and restore sample information


Import plate run(s)

This feature was previously named Import worklist

– Plate runs can be recreated using the corresponding MS datafiles.

– Please find a description in the user manual, Import plate run(s).

– Data from the LC and FIA parts maybe uploaded together.

– Plate runs may be moved, if desired.


1. Right-click on a plate run and select Move plate.






2. Select a Worklist, where this plate run should be moved to.

–     Sample information, like the sample identifier, need to be updated.

  1. In LIMS > Samples, select the corresponding samples.
  2. Click Export samples.


3. In the exported CSV file, add all desired sample information.

4. Click Import samples and load the CSV file with sample information from 3.


5. Activate Update samples and continue with the import according to Import sample list.


6. Sample information was added to the corresponding samples.
